Heritage Village has witnessed another year which left us endless memories.
In the last 6 months, residents and friends of Heritage Village have had the opportunity to make some interesting and educational tours, including:
- Three weeks in England, Ireland and Scotland during September
- Hockey game « Canadians vs Panthers » in Fort Lauderdale, in December
- Shen Yun Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, in February
- Abba Tribute at the Sunrise Theatre in February
- West Side Story at West Palm Beach Kravis Center in March
- Educational trip around Lake Okeechobee (history, resources, sugar cane plantation, rice plantation and factory, picnic) in March
- Hockey game « Canadians vs Tampa Bay Lightning » in Tampa, in March
- Seven days in Las Vegas including Céline Dion, Cirque du Soleil, the Grand Canyon, in March
As in previous years, we conduct a survey to find out if there is interest in the trips offered. As soon as the decision to organize a trip is taken, the people concerned give their name and travelers are selected on a "first come, first served” basis. Most of the time, there is a waiting list.
Note: For the next season it would be interesting to rely on new people to organize trips. Norma and Gilles will be available to help if someone wants to take the responsibility. It is nice to note that people who regularly travel with Heritage Village are disciplined and cooperative; thus, Heritage Village has earned an excellent reputation among carriers and guides.
